It was heart breaking to know that my baby (Nikon D40) had to go all the way from one corner of the US to the other (literally, from NY to HI) even before coming to me. Take a look at the UPS tracking information and see the plight of careless handling. The mistake was mine. I made an error when typing the zip code which sent the shipment all the way to Honolulu, Hawaii. The moment I realized the error, I gave UPS a call and enquired what could be done. Unfortunately, all I could do was to wait and see whether the shipment goes to Hawaii or comes to me since the city and state were correct. I wonder weather the sorting is automated or not with UPS because at Hawaii, they realized it was for California and sent it back here but at California, they checked the zipcode without even noticing the city name and state name, for the second time.
ANyways, now all the hassel is over and I am expecting to meet her for the first time today. See you all with a video review next time.
